"L’exposition « Regard sylvestre » est née à la croisée d’une invitation amicale, d’un lieu particulier et d’un moment précis sur mon chemin de dessinatrice.
J’avais passé l’été à dessiner de tout petits paysages au crayon de bois.
Les arbres y tenaient une place privilégiée comme élément architectural du paysage : masses, rythmes, échelles, contrastes.
J’entrais par l’endroit qui captait mon regard : un éclat de lumière, un point de fuite, un détail... à la pointe du crayon noir.
Ce furent mes premières lisières.
En rentrant de ce périple, mes amies Boise et Béa, me proposèrent de prolonger cette approche dans le parc du château de Bel Air - dont elles sont propriétaires - en vue d’une exposition dans les lieux.
Ma façon habituelle d’aborder le paysage, en y pénétrant à distance, s’est alors trouvé perturbée par la proximité des arbres.
Comme souvent, c’est dans la quête de résolution d’une problématique que surgit un nouveau défi : ici, celui de la couleur.
Ainsi naquirent mes premières monotypes."

"The exhibition "Regard sylvestre" was born at the crossroads of a friendly invitation, a particular place and a specific moment on my path as a designer.
I spent the summer drawing very small landscapes with a pencil.
Trees held a privileged place as an architectural element of the landscape: masses, rhythms, scales and contrasts.
I entered through the place where my eyes landed: a burst of light, a vanishing point, a detail ... at the tip of the pencil.
These were my first edges.
Returning from this journey, my friends Boise and Béa, offered to extend this approach in the park of Bel Air Castle - which they own - for an exhibition in the premises.
My usual way of approaching the landscape, entering it from a distance, was then disturbed by the proximity of the trees.
As often, it is in the quest to solve a problem that a new challenge arises: here, the color.
Thus were born my first monotypes. "
