Le Centre Claude Cahun intègre cette année le programme européen Magic Carpets. Cette plateforme réunit 17 organisations culturelles pour proposer aux artistes émergents des résidences de création à travers l’Europe.

À l’automne 2025, le Centre accueillera l’artiste Nordine Sajot, vivant à Rome, pour une résidence autour de l’agriculture et du lien qui nous unit à la terre. Comment aborder une manière durable de produire de la nourriture ? Nous aimerions que cette résidence soit un défi sur la manière dont l’art peut réconcilier monde agricole et société urbaine souvent éloignée des réalités de production.

Magic Carpets est un programme de Creative Europe, co-financé par l’Union Européenne.
Cette résidence est organisée en partenariat avec Commun’île et la ferme des Landes Fertiles.

This year, the Centre Claude Cahun joins the European program Magic Carpets. This platform brings together 17 cultural organizations to offer emerging artists creative residencies across Europe.
​
In the autumn of 2025, the Centre will host artist Nordine Sajot, who lives in Rome, for a residency focused on agriculture and our connection to the earth. How can we approach a sustainable way of producing food? We hope this residency will serve as a challenge to explore how art can reconcile the agricultural world with urban societies often detached from the realities of production.

Magic Carpets is a Creative Europe program, co-funded by the European Union.
This residency is organized in partnership with Commun’île and La Ferme des Landes Fertiles.
